This workshop is for anyone who is interested in experimental and evidence-based policymaking. We have applied various testing and experimentation tools – such as rapid policy prototyping and regulatory sandboxing – in the real world and alongside businesses and regulators, informing actual tech policies in development. In this workshop we share our insights and some practical tools and templates which can help you deploy your own experimental policy initiatives.

In this workshop you will:
– Increase your knowledge of experimental governance approaches, its uses and possibilities to create better policy in the sphere of emerging tech
– Receive approachable, concrete tools and guidance for how to do experimental governance in practice
– Learn how to create and foster connections and collaboration between different actors (government, industry, civil society, academia) working on tech governance
